Impact Wrestling is never boring as Rohit Raju has been working to endear himself to X Division Champion Chris Bey.
A couple of weeks ago, he worked an angle and told Bey that TJP was talking smack and wanted a shot at the X Division Championship.
So, after a little finagling, bey decided to join Rohit for an impromptu tag team match against TJP and Fallah Bahh.
We picked Bey and Rohit to win and boy, were we wrong.

Revisited plans
Our thinking was Rohit was after the championship and would do anything he could to convince the Finesser he could be trusted.
TJP locked Bey in an armbar to get the victory, and it cemented him as the number one contender.
Because of that, and because we’re stubborn and aren’t giving up on our belief that Rohit is going to double cross Bey, Rohit convinced Bey that he should do a triple threat match.
Rohit’s reasoning, which is sound, was that TJP had Fallah Bahh in his corner, so Bey would need him.
They could have a “falling out” but team up on TJP.
Bey agreed, but we could see the wheels turning. He’s too smart to trust Rohit completely, but he’ll have little choice since TJP made him submit last week.
And the winner is…
We’re going with Chris Bey simply because this is only his second title defense and it feels wrong to take it from him already. Plus, him and Rohit together are fun to watch.
They have a definite chemistry that makes them entertaining and keeps us guessing if they’re being trusting of ready to double cross each other.
On the flip side, TJP deserves this opportunity and it’s hard to say he shouldn’t win it. The same with Rohit.
There are plenty of arguments that can be made why each of them deserve this win and to be the X Division Champion, and we can’t argue against them.
Our thinking is that while both men are great performers, we think their push has only started. It just feels too early to hand either of then the title, but that’s just us.
We expect bigger and better things from and for them in the next few weeks of months, and that does include a championship or two.
We could even be looking at a future feud between Rohit and TJP beginning and we just don’t see it.
Bey better keep his head on a swivel just in case, because Rohit and TJP are hungry and ready to go.
However it works out, this should be an awesome match on tonight’s Impact Wrestling.
