CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here with some fun and exciting spoilery goodies to share, and it looks like we’re in for a fun ride.
Every so often, Genoa City needs a Newman family war. It helps refresh things and keep the Newmans on their toes going forward.
It also fractures relationships that we get to spend the next years watching them try to fix. It may not be as much fun as the war, but that’s our penance for enjoying these things so much.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has been trying everything he can think of to get his mind in order, and Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) has been right there with him for most of it.
But things will hit a snag when Chelsea’s fears of losing Adam to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) may be coming true in her eyes.
Elsewhere, a Newman family war is brewing, and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) appears to be the first one to launch a volley in Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)’s name.
Neither of these are unexpected, and we’re excited to finally get to this point in both storylines, but there could be an additional tie in coming.

It’s war
While this is being slated as Billy’s revenge plot, it’s really more Victoria’s as she wants to strike back at her father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam for her feelings being hurt.
Let’s face it, they can frame it anyway they want, but that’s what it is. And it’s understandable, though shortsighted.
But that’s how most of these things go anyway, so who are CBS “The young and the Restless” Spoilers to judge?
While we fully expect Billy to go ahead with Victoria’s story, we also expect it to pit Victor against Adam to some degree since Victor has admitted he expects Adam to hate him in perpetuity.
It’s how Victoria will probably spin it, since Billy won’t divulge where he got the story.
Allyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) will probably get most of the blame since she’s in the city, so that should be interesting.
On a side note, it also wouldn’t surprise us if this begins Adam’s redemption story as he and Victor will become closer while Victoria finds herself on the outside looking in.
It’s unlikely, but an interesting thought.
Chelsea’s fear realized
Chelsea has tried to keep control of her fear that she’ll lose Adam to Sharon, but finding them both at the hotel could be the thing that pushes her over the edge.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers assume Adam will arrive while she’s standing outside and he won’t let her in, knowing that Sharon’s sleeping and he doesn’t want to disturb her.
Sharon would then hear their exchange, and a possible accusation from Chelsea about her and Adam.
And if Adam does let her in, will Sharon be there to greet them and answer uncomfortable question, or will she hide in the shower?
Plenty of fun ahead with this one.
