WWE Raw Results loved the open challenges as they added an uncertain element to the night, and when Andrade issues his, we weren’t expecting Keith Lee.
Andrade vs. Keith Lee
It was announced when the match started that Angel Garza sustained an injury last night at Clash of Champions. Guess it’s serious if they sending Andrade on his own like this.
Speaking of which, she started the match off with a rear waist lock that Lee easily broke.
Andrade hammered his back, but Lee caught him with an elbow off the ropes, and winced Andrade’s arm and lifted him straight up.
A few forearms by Andrade were answered by Lee tossing him across the ring.
Andrade then ducked a charge, and Lee hit the turnbuckle, but Lee halted his momentum with a crossbody block off the ropes.
Lee then hit with a splash in the corner, tossed Andrade across the ring and hit with another splash.
Andrade hit with a dropkick to Lee’s legs, then pounded on him in the corner. After Lee caught him off the ropes, Andrade slipped out and hit with a chop block, then double knees.
Andrade pulled him to his feet, and Lee hit with a sudden Spirit Bomb.
Lee winning wasn’t unexpected, but this ending was straight out of a video game and feels too sudden.
A clip from earlier in the day with the Hurt Business having lunch were interrupted by someone joiing them.
Lashley informed him he was in his seat so he moved over. He made the man move again and leave his plate, which they divided up.
24/7 Championship race
We returned, and after a recap of last week’s beach action with Akira Tozawa, R-Truth was playing a game of chess and talking about challenging Drew McIntyre when a ninja handed him a letter.
The letter said if he’s reading it, then Tozawa was eaten by a shark and thanked him for their matches.
The briefcase was opened and R-Truth pulled out Tozawa’s black belt.
Tozawa then jumped out from under the table and rolled him up for the pin.
Tozawa was then hit over the head with the briefcase and pinned, and the ninja pulled off his mask to reveal Drew Gulak as the new 24/7 champion.
After saying he’s always prepared, Gulak turned and R-Truth hit him with the briefcase and pinned him to reclaim his 24/7 Championship and ran off shouting, “Checkmate!”
This led to the announcement of a Triple Threat Match between the three of them WWE Raw Results wasn’t really looking froward to based on past experience.
