As Reigns left, Aj Styles’ music played and he came out and asked if it was over and if it really matters who sits at the head of the table, starting off the competitive portion of WWE Smackdown Results.
Styles added that believe it or not, Jey matters to AJ Styles. He doesn’t want to see him take another beating, and said he should let someone that’s more qualified face him.
Basically, he meant himself.
Styles of course called Jey a runt and Jimmy the better athlete,
Jey then hit him with a spear and pounded on him.
Styles headed out of the ring, and Jey hit a running clothesline off the announce table.
Jey Uso vs. AJ Styles
The match started with Styles talking trash, then sidestepping a charge and catching Jey with several kicks and punches before Jey responded with a right hand of his own and a slam.
Jey followed it up with a headbutt, but Styles sidestepped another charge into the corner.
Styles snapmared him over, and hit with a pair of kicks and a knee drop for a near pinfall.
Styles then chocked Jey out on the bottom rope, and slingshoted him into the bottom rope, further injury Jey’s throat.
Jey hit with a jawbreaker, but Styles hit with a flurry of punches and kicks.
Styles then went for the Style’s Clash, but Jey pushed back and Styles did a faceplant in the middle of the ring.
Jey then clotheslines Styles over the top rope and too the floor, but Styles met his suicide dive with a kick.
Styles pulled him out of the ring and dropped him on the announce table.
Jey’s focused
Back from commercial, they’re back in the ring and Jey rolled Styles up for a near pinfall, and Styles followed it with a backbreaker for another near pinfall.
Styles stomped Jey a couple of time, then flipped him over and locked in a reach chin lock.
Jey fought to his feet, but Styles threw him into the corner, where Jey sidestepped a splash and hit Styles with a superkick.
Styles charged him, but Jey lifted him into the air for a Samoan drop, and then a neckbreaker for a near pinfall.
Styles ducked a superkick and hit with a step up kick, then hit with a backbreaker flip off his shoulders for a near pinfall.
Styles attempted a Styles’ Clash, but Jey blocked it and backdropped Styles over the ropes.
Styles held onto the rope and landed on the apron. Styles ciught his first kick, but Jey’s followthorugh caught Styles and sent him to the floor.
Jey then hit with a suicide dive and threw Styles into the ring. Styles got his foot up and caught Jey off the top rope attempting a splash.
Styles was on the ropes for a Phenomenal Forearm, but Jey hit the ropes, then kicked Styles to the mat before hitting another superkick.
Jey hit with the Uso Splash for the pin.
This was a pretty cool match and WWE Smackdown Results like how much Jey Uso has grown over the last few weeks.
