On WWE Smackdown, we had a Falls Count Anywhere Match, so tonight we have a No DQ Match between Kevin Owens and Aleister Black on WWE Raw.
The WWE is definitely trying to keep us entertained while the draft is happening, and this match shouldn’t disappoint us.
They’ve been building to it for weeks and it feels like a fitting end to this feud would be at Hall in a Cell.
It’s definitely possible for that to happen in our minds since we don’t think either of them will be leaving Raw.
But there’s a twist.
Welcome to the family
While we expect Owens and Black to remain on Raw, we also expect the Fiend and Alexa Bliss to be drafted to Raw to replace Rollins as heels.
This would be an interesting move since the WWE has had Bray Wyatt listed as a face for a month or so, but it’s understandable and logical.
The Fiend started on Raw before last year’s draft, and it would make sense for Wyatt and Rollins to swap.
With that in mind, we think the Fiend will play a part in this match tonight in some way.
Owens said he’s been dealing with his own questions since he first encountered the Fiend.
In fact, we expect him to join the new Wyatt family after the way Bliss and the Fiend wordlessly communicated following the Fiend’s victory on Smackdown.
So, we expect the Fiend to attack Alesiter Black or at least appear at ringside to distract him. Owens won’t turn heel yet, but it’d be a pretty cool moment.
Of course, the issue here is Raw would be stacked with the heels once again and Smackdown would have Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, which will lead to a fun feud there at some point.
Like after Rollins returns a changed man, maybe?
As for this match, we don’t expect it to go as smoothly as it may seem simply because of the Fiend and Bliss’ involvement with Owens.
Should be interesting to see what comes out of this and the draft tonight.
If nothing else, we should geta glimpse into whether Owens will listen to Bliss and let him in.
