Hello and welcome to Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory Results!
Looks like we’ll have an awesome show with a stacked card, with Ken Shamrock’s Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame Induction, so let’s get to it.
The Pre-Show was the typical flashback and speculation show, but it also had some wrestling legends speak about Ken Shamrock including Bret Hart.
Bret said that Shamrock’s motto of “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” was well deserved.
He even took a shot at Vince McMahon for betraying him, and how Shamrock called him later that night and told him he was on Bret’s side.
Bret added that he’s proud of calling Shamrock a friend, brother, and hero.
Mick Foley spoke next to congratulate Shamrock. He talked about their working together as a tag team, and how Shamrock worked so hard to be a great wrestler instead of just coming in and dominating everyone.
He added that he remembered Shamrock and Billy Gunn having a running contest, and said Shamrock is one of the most competitive guys around.
He said it was a pleasure to work with him and he congratulated Shamrock.
Others shared their thoughts as well like Ariel Helwani and Bas Rutten, Chael Sonnen about Shamrock being a pioneer, a champion, and an inspiration.
The Deaners (Cody and Cousin Jake) vs. The Rascalz (Dez and Wentz)
The Deaners looked ready to go, and Jake and Wentz started it off.
Wentz ducked a clothesline, but at a chest bump from Jake that floored him
Wentz slipped off Jake’s shoulder and shoved him into Cody when he tagged in and they tried to double team him.
Wentz hit a knee on Jake after hand springing off the ropes, then the Rascalz alternated running elbows in opposite corners.
Jake caught Wentz when he tried another running knee, and threw him into Dez, sending them t the floor.
Jake then held the ropes open for Cody to dive through his legs, but Dez hit Cody with a kick, and Wentz kicked Jake out of the ring, and then hit Jake with a crossbody over the top rope and into the floor.
Cody climbed to the top rope, but Dez caught him and attempted a superplex, but Cody held on ad fought Dez off, but Wentz came in to help and double superplex.
Jake grabbed both Rascalz and powerbombed them.
Cody then hit Dez with a flying headbutt for a near pinfall, but Wentz saved the pin.
Wentz superkicked Jake, and then he and Dez hit a series of kicks and double stomp on Jake, and he rolled to the floor.
Cody was grabbed by Wentz, and Dez lined him up for a superkick, and Wentz hit a knee.
Cody got hit knees up when Dez tried to hit a splash, and Jake hit a modified sidewalk slam for Cody to get the pin.
Ken Shamrock Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame Induction
Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory Results have been waiting for this, and after hearing other legends congratulate him, it was time for Ken Shamrock to be inducted not the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame.
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson spoke through a prerecorded message, and he said he had the privilege of sharing the ring with so many through the years, and he owes a huge amount of gratitude.
He said that he was just cutting his teeth in the WWE as a heel in his first iteration of the Rock, and he needed the best face and bada$% to up his street cred, and that was Ken Shamrock.
He added that Shamrock could’ve refused to work with “that kid” with someone still learning, but he didn’t.
He said a few did refuse to work with him (A shot at the Kliq), but Shamrock didn’t and he took the Rock under his wing and showed him the ropes.
He pointed out how Shamrock is a founding father of MMA and the Attitude Era, and he congratulated Shamrock. He then thanked him for the memories, sweat equity, and for being an awesome dude when the Rock needed it,
Ken Shamrock was then introduced and he came out to the ramp.
He accepted the induction and said he was stuttering for words after hearing his peers say so many great things about him and he thanked them.
He added it’s a journey, and he wanted to thank everyone that helped him along the way.
He spoke about his first time when he tried out, and he went from questioning what he was doing to loving it, and he thanked Nelson Royal for helping him get started.
He said that he eventually went back into the WWF that really helped him become a professional, and he thanked Vince McMahon for the opportunity.
He said that Bret Hart told him once to just be him, just be Ken Shamrock “The World’s Most Dangerous Man.”
He then thanked the Rock for their matches and how they were able to really hone their skills together.
He then thanked his family for being there for him, and he concluded by thanking the fans because without fans, the athletes wouldn’t be able to do what they’re doing.
This was an awesome moment that Impact Wrestling Bound For Glory Results loved.
