WWE Raw Results returned to a recap of Lana and Asuka defeated Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax in tag action the last two weeks, and it was announced that they’ll face off for the Women’s tag championship at TLC.
Asuka (w/Lana) vs. Shayna Baszler (w/Nia Jax)
Asuka rolled up Baszler for an early ankle lock, but Baszler reversed it into an Achilles hold, and Asuka countered it into her own Achilles hold.
They then exchanged knee bars, and Baszler lifted Asuka out of the hold and hit a reverse suplex.
Asuka rolled out of the ring and Lana went to help her. Lana fought off Jax while Baszler threw Asuka into the announce desk.
Back from commercial, Baszler hit a falling armbreaker, and then locked in armbar but Asuka fought to keep her from synching it in.
Asuka rolled Baszler over for a pin, forcing her to break the hold.
Baszler then ducked a roundhouse kick by Asuka and kicked Asuka’s leg, dropping her to the mat.
Baszler hit a couple of kicks on Asuka, but Asuka ducked her fourth attempt and hit a release German suplex.
Third time’s the charm
Asuka hit a reverse elbow, a big boot, and face buster, but Baszler blocked her charge into the corner with her knees.
Asuka then rolled Baszler up and tried to lock in an armbar, and Baszler rolled though it to slap on the Coquina clutch. Asuka rolled through that for a pin attempt and tried to lock in a Asuka Lock.
Jax bulldozed Lana on the floor and Baszler hit Asuka from behind.
Jax carried Lana toward the ring post, but Lana slipped off her shoulder and pushed her into the ring steps.
Lana then hit a hurricanranna on Jax that sent her into the announce table.
Baszler yelled for Lana to come back, and Asuka took advantage of the distraction to roll up Baszler for the win.
Backstage, the Hurt Business entered the building and Cedric Alexander cave a stagehand grief for being in their way and sent him scurrying away.
Nothing like making an entrance in WWE Raw Results eyes.
