WWE SmackDown: Three Things That Could Happen On SmackDown Tonight

SmackDown is the perfect way to kickstart the weekend for wrestling fans, and for much of 2020 it has been the most solid weekly WWE show that has aired. There will be more engrossing action this evening, as the WWE gets closer to the TLC PPV. But, what could potentially happen on SmackDown tonight?

    WWE SmackDown: Jey Uso Retaliates

The story surrounding Roman Reigns and his cousin Jey Uso has been the most engrossing on SmackDown since the Big Dog’s return, and last week there was another development. Reigns brutally attacked Uso after the latters match with Kevin Owens, who will be challenging for the Universal Championship at the TLC event.

It’s fair to say that the relationship between Reigns and Uso is a complex one, with Reigns delivering a number of chair shots to his cousin to end the show last week. Fans will be looking forward to the next chapter of this story on SmackDown tonight, and that could lead to Uso looking to gain a layer of revenge on Reigns. If not, we could see Uso instead take out his frustration on Owens, and look to take out the superstar before Reigns comes up against him at TLC.

WWE SmackDown: Carmella And Sasha Banks Contract Signing

It has already been revealed that the contract signing for the upcoming women’s title match at TLC will take place this evening. Carmella has attacked Sasha Banks a handful of times since returning from a long lay off, and has berated the reigning champion to give her a title opportunity at the final PPV of the year.

The contract signing for that will take place tonight, and there will likely be a coming together between the two stars this evening. There isn’t much question that Banks will successfully regain the title, but the challenge does mean that Carmella has returned to the top of the women’s card.

WWE SmackDown: Number One Contender Emerges

There has been an engaging Intercontinental Championship picture for the last couple of weeks on SmackDown, which has consisted of Sami Zayn and Daniel Bryan. However, Big E has also entered the fray now, and it would seem as though a match between the former New Day member of Zayn will happen at TLC.

There could be a match this evening to determine the number one contender for the championship, and we would expect Big E to be the star heading towards TLC.
