Celebrate a fresh slate
Anyway, the celebrations are going to start early, and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Amanda Sinclair (Morgan Mishael) are going to celebrate the ball dropping together.
Though we doubt it’ll be a festive mood given what they’ve dealt with lately, it could be the moment when they take the first step and move beyond being just friends.
While this is bound to happen as their relationship has followed the typical formula on daytime television, CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers expect the slow burn to continue.
This doesn’t mean something won’t happen, just that we think for Devon it’ll be a little too weird since Amanda is his deceased wife’s twin.
Though to be fair, things like that haven’t stopped many couples in the past. In a genre that used rape pretty regularly to bring super couples together, is it beyond the realm of possibility?
Stumbling block
Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) has been worried about her upcoming procedure, and it seems that no matter what Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) says or does, it doesn’t help.
There may be a good reason for Chelsea to be worried as she’s going to hit a complication in this episode.
The setback could be anything from her passing out and causing the surgery to start sooner than expected to something on the doctor’s end preventing him from performing the procedure.
Clean and simple is a possibility. Unfortunately, nothing is ever clean and simple in Genoa City.
Another possibility comes from our twisted mind and it involves the funding for the surgery being cut off, and it’ll force Adam to think of something else. Maybe even return to the Newmans.
We can see Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) doing this out of spite to prove Adam can’t leave and to embarrass him if he happened to be using any family funds.
It’s not like Victoria has done anything like that previously, right?
