‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set to have some more storylines circle back as they’re recycled from bygone runs.
It’s not surprising given how soap operas rung 24/7, but it can get a little frustrating and we hope there will be some unforeseen twists if they follow the path we expect.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, February 5: Pushed too far
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) has been trying everything he can think of to help Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) get better, but his attempts may blow up in his face big time.
It’s no secret that Chelsea doesn’t have any use for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), and Adam is using Chelsea’s dislike bordering on hate to make her fight to get better.
Sharon was in agreement, and it looks like their efforts will bear some fruit. The thing is, it may not be the type of fruit they want.
Chelsea’s insecurities and Adam’s desire to be with Sharon have pushed her to the point of a mental breakdown, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think this is what’ll happen.
Chelsea may even lash out physically, but that’s a lesser change of happening, in our opinion.
If we’re right, we’re going to get another psychotically unbalance woman obsessed with a man and willing to kill to keep him.
Genoa City averages one of these a decade, or maybe more? Would them going in a different direction be such a bad thing?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, February 5: Sally’s crush
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) has been Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)’s number one supporter, confidant, and friend since she arrived in Genoa City.
But that’s not going to be enough for her to confide in him about a secret that we assume could destroy her attempt to get a fresh start.
It’s easy to imagine the secret has to do with her last bit of shenanigans in LA, but it could be anything. Maybe even a crush on him?
They’ve been showing good chemistry and have been building a solid bond, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have been thinking something more could be going on.
We think Sally won’t want to get into another relationship that could damage her in some way as she fights to make a new name for herself.
The last thing she’ll want is claims of nepotism until she’s made it, and that means her self preservation reflexes will kick in. Jack may be offended on her not being honest with him, but he’ll get over it.
If anyone understands the need to make their own way it’ll be him.
