It looks like rap star Bow Wow could be about to enter the wrestling scene. That is according to Rikishi, who is the owner of a wrestling school that the rapper will be attending, as well as being a close friend of his.

In an interview, Rikishi spoke about how he is looking forward to passing on some knowledge. He said: “He’s got to understand what it is when he gets in the ring how to protect himself, how to be a storyteller and all that theatrical movement. Not really getting in there and punching each other in the face and so forth.”
This would fall in line with the type of person that Rikishi is. When he met Bow Wow for the first time, the rapper was a young kid who was blowing up the music. And since then, he has viewed himself as a role model for Bow Wow. It is with that in mind that Rikishi is looking forward to Bow Wow joining. After all, the rapper could fill out stadiums.
He added: “For me, it’s good for business. If Bow Wow can come into our industry and put asses in seats at WrestleMania, then why not? And everybody should motivate him or help him because him coming in, or anybody coming in from hip hop or the movie industry into our industry.”
So what will be the biggest challenge for Bow Wow? Well, it could be Randy Orton given that another rapper Soulja Boy had already ruffled his feathers in some Twitter beef. And it looks like Bow Wow may soon find out, with Randy and other wrestlers ready to hold any rapper to those words.
Rakishi stated: “Obviously, they’re [ new wrestlers] green, and they need to be smartened up. So there is no time for jealousy or those who just hate on the poor guy who is just trying to come in to live his dream.”
It will be very interesting to see if Bow Wow joins the professional circuit, and if he does, the prospect of facing Randy would be too good to ignore.
