According to WAVY News, the fire killed one person and injured some others. Patrick was there to save the day. He shouted out across the complex, waking residents up so that they could save themselves. Patrick said that that was all he could think of because lives cannot be replaced. The TLC star scrambled up a tree and he helped people to get out of the burning building.
90 Day Fiancé’s Patrick also helped the firefighters with their hoses. WAVY News reported that “he also did this all without stopping for hours, which he attributes to his training as an MMA fighter.” Patrick says he is no hero, and that he only feels grateful that his fitness levels helped him rescue other people. However, the TLC star and his family lost everything as they escaped from the fire ‘barefoot.’ All they had were the clothes they stood in.
