‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set for a good mix in our spoilery goodies as this episode has a little bit of everything.
It’s not so much of a shock as it is their teasing some possibilities amongst the near constant circling back and lackadaisical writing.
In some cases, we get thrown a curveball, like someone going to Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) for advice, and her words of wisdom could be just what Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) needs.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers: Wisdom from the ages
Faith has been dealing with as much or more than anyone else in Genoa City and she needs someone to talk to; someone that understands her.
Phyllis has been through more than her share of trauma, and she has loads of wisdom to share but most people, like her daughter, don’t want to listen.
But Faith will be desperate for something to hold onto even if she doesn’t know it, and Phyllis will give her some advice that will help Faith find balance in the maelstrom her life’s become.
It won’t be perfect, but ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect Phyllis to offer the right words that’ll do more to help Faith than anything that’s been done to this point, and it’ll be a turning point for her.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, March 24: Needing help
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has been dumped on by just about everyone in her life, and she’s going to be called on to help during a crisis.
In this case, we think Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey) will be reaching out after her other daughter, the possessive one, Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose), tries to have her committed or take away her money.
This is pure speculation, but given the state of affairs in Genoa City it makes sense that Amanda’s mom will have some pressing issues that can’t wait.
It’ll be a way for Amanda and her mom to bond and she’ll need something to focus on for the moment as she navigates the rest of her life.
This will also open up another family drama for us to dive into when the other dramas turn stale as they kinda have.
With any luck, this one won’t adopt the same storylines the others have run in the last few months, but that could be wishing for too much.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, March 24: Mariah and Tessa move on
In the category of turning something fun and cool into yet another meandering storyline as Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) prepare to move into the Chancellor estate.
While they being a new adventure of leisure, we’ll patiently wait for the wheels to come off and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) to become a psychotic mom-to-be as she’ll control everything they’ll do.
Could we be expecting too much? Maybe, but there’s a chance we could have a curveball thrown our way.
