This is going to be as fast paced as any Impact Wrestling Rebellion Preview has seen in a while, and it has the potential to steal the show.
TJP holds an edge over both of his opponents and is the odds on favorite to win, according to John E. Bravo, but we don’t think it’ll go that way.
For starters, it looks like Madman Fulton will be at ringside for Austin, so we expect Fallah Bahh to be there for TJP and Petey Williams for Josh Alexander.
The competitors friends and partners have been making names for themselves recently as they’ve helped steal a couple of wins.
We fully expect one or all of them to play a role in this match, and it’ll come down to who’s craftier and quicker on the draw.
Normally, we’d go with Austin on that because he’s proven himself in that regard. But Petey Williams has been a great addition and he’s slipped in as a great opportunist would when needed.
Bahh is a formidable foe to anyone, and we expect him and Fulton to continue their fight from Thursday night, giving Williams and Alexander the chance they need to slide in for a win.

It’s a swerve!
Of course, we can’t overlook TJP and his countless ways to counter and reverse just about every hold, and he could make things extremely difficult.
Playing the devil’s advocate and for the sake of a future storyline, TJP could realistically force Austin and Alexander to submit simultaneously.
Sure, only one of them needs to submit or be pinned to lose, and a double submission attempt would force Fulton to try to interfere to get Austin disqualified.
Bahh would take him out and that would give Williams a chance to break the hold or cause enough of an issue to give Anderson a chance to grab the win.
We’re confident that this won’t be a “clean” ending without some kind of distraction, and that’ll work against TJP.
However we cut this, we think Alexander or Austin will win. It doesn’t help that TJP has been on the short end on his last few outings, but we could just be overthinking this.
Whoever walks out as X-Division Champion is going to earn it as there’s plenty waiting in live for their shot at the title.
