Jorge Nava, best known for being on 90 Day Fiancé, has revealed how he lost a significant amount of weight during his time in prison.

The reality TV star, who appeared on the show in 2016, was arrested after being found in possession of marijuana. Unlike other countries where the punishments are less severe, Jorge was sentenced to jail for two years. So having such an enormous amount of time on his hands meant he decided to dedicate his life to something positive.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Jorge opened up on how his time behind bars made him reflect on his life. He said: “You kind of get to think a lot…I got the taste of success a little bit when I was able to change my mindset to change my personal appearance.”
The changes would go on to be immense. He went on to lose a total of 133lb, and after going through an intense period of mental struggles, the results spoke for themselves. Jorge’s girlfriend was very happy with the transformation, and it was coupled with some other big news.
He recently welcomed the arrival of his new daughter this month, which has given his life more meaning. During a post on his Instagram at the time, Jorge shared a picture of himself kissing his girlfriend. They are in the sea embracing each other, without a care in the world.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “There’s no love that can match what I have for my family. I love them more than anything in this world.” With fatherhood to contend with, Jorge has found it a little hard to keep the weight stable. That is not to say that he is returning to his old ways.
Rather, it is the reality that many parents have to deal with. Nevertheless, he is still keeping his body in the best possible shape. He stated: “I still feel healthy…I guess it’s kinda just maintaining a healthy diet, really. That’s what it really comes down to.”
