Finn Balor has kept NXT going while it was in a rough patch with some injuries and roster changes. It felt like a massive whole was within NXT, but Finn Balor was coming into the roster and winning the NXT title kept the meteor running when Karrion Kross was recovering from injury.
Now that Karrion Kross is back and had some great matches with Finn Balor ending with him having to leave NXT. The roster has also bounced back with the Undisputed Era and are now all single wrestlers.
There is still some room for improvement, but it’s a lot better since Karrion Kross had to leave. It seems to be a good time for Finn Balor to leave and go back to either Raw or Smackdown. Smackdown is doing fine, mostly due to Roman Reigns storytelling, but Raw has been somehow getting worse each week.
Raw has had some good championships but somehow comes out feeling stale. However, this does make Raw the best place for Finn Balor right now, but how should they introduce the Prinxe back to Raw.
The introduction back into Raw
Going back to Raw shouldn’t start with Finn Balor but more like the Fiend. When the Fiend returns after his well deserved time off. He should be in the middle of the ring where Bray Wyatte talks about the Fiend on the big screen. Bray Wyatt should say something like, “The Fiend has returned, and he is hungry!
The Fiend will not go for the Universal championship. He will hunt through the roster and become the most feared Demon in the WWE Universe.” When Bray Wyatt says this, the Fiend looks at the big screen. Making Bray Wyatt said in a scared voice, “oo, I meant hunt through the roster as the most feared Demon in the roster”. After this, the Fiend should go against Randy Orton one last time, beating him clean.
Then go after Kofi Kingstone and Drew McIntyre. After this, he should go after Bobby Lashley for the belt. Then at SummerSlam, The Fiend Vs. Bobby Lashley. That ends with the Fiend losing to Bobby Lashley due to a distraction from the Demon Balor.
The Fiend Vs. Finn Balor
Finn Balor then appears on the next episode of Raw. Saying that it’s his turn to go after Bobby Lashley’s belt. This then turns into Finn Balor going against Bobby at the next PPV. Where Finn Balor wins. There is no mention of the Demon until the PPV, where Bobby loses to the Demon. With Finn Balor as the Universal Champion once again.
Bobby Lashley goes into the tag team for a while with MVP or something along these lines. Until Money in the Bank, where he wins but then moves to Smackdown. Finn Balor appears on Raw after winning the belt, where he does a promo about being the first champion.
Then at the end, he says that it seems like the Demon has already scared of the Fiend. John Morrison comes out and says to Finn Balor that you hide behind the Demon and that it’s time to see what the Prinxe is made of in Raw. This sets up a match, but John Morrison never makes it to the ring, but the Fiend does.
The episode of Raw ends with the Fiend destroying Finn Balor. This starts the feud between Finn Balor and the Fiend for Wrestlemania. It also sets up John Morrison for a rematch down the line for good measure after Wrestlemania or the PPV before.
Both the Fiend and Demon persona only appear at PPV’s leading to the match at Wrestlemania. Most of their feud is done through Bray Wyatt and Finn Balor. Making it special when we see their other persona’s.
