‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set for what’s bound to be an interesting and entertaining episode simply for character development purposes.
We’re pretty sure we’re going to see the ramifications of a decision and keeping secrets once again, but let’s take a look at some spoilery goodies to dive deeper.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, June 24: Summer makes her choice
This has so much potential to go sideways that we’re buying into the sideways approach as Summer Newman (Hunter King) finally makes her choice.

The obvious one they’ve been building for is she’ll take the job offer and jet away, but if she does accept it she’ll try to work something for Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to go with her when he stops her.
More on that in a second. Her other choice, and the one we think most likely to happen, is she’ll refuse and confront Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and things will go off the rails pretty quickly.
Unless she’s smart enough to record the conversation or have someone there, which we don’t think will happen. She’s not devious enough.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, June 24: Phillis blabs and may save the day
One thing ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers have learned is parents in Genoa city hate to let their children make their own choices.
It makes sense as most every parent wants their children to be safe and happy, and many would fight their children’s battles for them if they could.
In Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford)’s case, we think she’s going to use what little information she has and spill the news to Kyle about Summer being pressured.
She’ll probably mention Tara’s name and then have to convince Kyle to pay attention and see the greater danger.
Then he’ll bound to Summer like the good housebroken puppy he is and do everything he can to convince her to stay so they can fight Tara and stay together.
He’ll end up convincing her because Summer’s not going anywhere and then we’re off to the races.
Now, if only Kyle will learn to pay close attention to those that mean the most to him instead of taking Summer for granted. We’re sure he’ll remember until the next time his tummy gets a good scratching.
