‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out with some fun spoilery goodies that are going to make things interesting next week.
We’re going strong style into Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King)’s relationship running its course and it could be a doozy.
It wouldn’t be a surprise if Summer takes off since these two always find an excuse to break up or run away, but will they actually go through with it this time and let Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) hang herself out to dry?

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, June 25: Kyle’s plea for help
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers don’t think the show runners have the guts to do something like that, and we expect them to take the easy way out and have Summer stay to confront Tara.
To do this, Kyle’s going to need some help convincing Summer to stay, so he’s going to dust off his knees and plead away for Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford).
Phyllis will be caught between if she should intervene or not as she wants to ensure her daughter’s safe and sound, but she doesn’t want to tell her how to live her life.
Or she could knock Kyle out like Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) would do, but Phyllis is on the fence about Kyle.
Though if he’s ranting and pleading for help it could make it look like he did do something and needs help cleaning it up. Basically, Kyle being Kyle.
We don’t see Phyllis stopping Summer outright, but maybe she’ll lay a couple of delaying actions to slow her up to miss her flight?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, June 25: Collateral damage
Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman) will have an interesting afternoon when she’s blind sided with the news that Summer’s leaving without so much as a warning.
Of course, we expect this news will come via Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), who will be only too happy to share the news her rival’s leaving and she may even drop a hint at an expected promotion because why not?
Summer could even be the one to tell Lauren, but we don’t think so. Summer’s going to be so intent on leaving to protect Kyle any goodbye will be a drive by on her behalf.
Lauren’s going to need a minute to collect herself, but will she do so in time to prevent Summer from leaving?
