‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to start a new month off with what looks to be a fight for independence from Newman tyranny and an attempt to rekindle a romance.
Genoa City seems to be gearing up for an interesting next few weeks or even months as several storylines look to be gathering speed for a big collision.
We hope so, anyway, but we’re crossing our fingers to help it along.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, July 1: Family time
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has been working his way around in an attempt to force his children to comply with him for years, and now he has one unruly member left.
But Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) isn’t going to be willing to put up with his antics, especially given she’ll think he’s looking to take advantage of Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi)’s reported illness.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think he is, and after Victoria caught Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) looking through the papers on her desk, she may suspect it even more.
We’re not saying Nikki will spill the beans, but the possibility will be on Victoria’s mind.
This could be the final push to get a storyline rolling where the Newman children come together to topple Victor in what could be a pretty cool storyline if they follow through on it.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, July 1: Sally’s invite
Now that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has gotten Summer Newman (Hunter King) and her insecurities out of her hair, she’s going to send Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) another invite.
She’s definitely persistent, but can anyone blame her when she’s had to fight her way to prominence regularly and this time she responded to a threat by Summer and it cost her the man she loved?
Whether Jack accepts is a whole other matter, but we think he will simply to tell Sally it’s over with no chance of their relationship continuing.
But will he remain so hardline when she talks with him? We think there’s a chance she’ll be able to convince him that things are different and she only wants to start fresh.
If she’s smart, she’ll avoid criticizing Summer and that could go a long way to winning him over.
Will things work out in Sally’s favor this time? Let us know in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
