With Money in the Bank pay-per-view two weeks away, WWE Raw Preview is set for some more fun action as more matches will be set or refined and we get some awesome action in the process.
The problems with WWE Creative are what they are, but when they talent’s been allowed to perform we’ve seen some great matches. And tonight there are a couple of good ones on tap.
Ricochet vs. John Morrison w/The Miz
After stealing the show last week with an awesome performance that ended in double count out, Ricochet and Morrison will have a rematch to qualify for the MITB Ladder Match.
We expect this to be another barnburner as they put their physical skills and storytelling to the test.
It’s hard to pick a winner, but we’re going with Morrison simply because he’s been treated as a laughing stock for a while and he deserves better.
So does Ricochet, and maybe this could lead to a larger feud between the two that’ll leave us wanting more?
Charlotte Flair to give a medical update
After Rhea Ripley nailed Flair with a chop block at the end of their tag match last week, Flair’s asked for time to address the attack.
She going to pour out her heel heart in another must see promo before Ripley or Asuka come out to challenge her because they have to and it could lead to a match later in the night.
Of course, Flair will say she can’t compete, but she’ll happily fake her injury just so she can get a cheap shot in at Ripley before the end of the night.
Special Money in the Bank Miz TV
The Miz will host an explosive Miz TV, and we’re sure he’s going to cause some animosity between his guests which will probably lead to a tag team match or even a fatal four way.
It’s the usual type of angle the WWE has worked recently, and with Drew McIntyre, Riddle, Ricochet, and John Morrison something’s bound to go sideways for the Miz.
The New Day vs. Bobby Lashley and MVP
It looks like the Hurt Business is officially gone since Lashley and MVP aren’t being billed ass such even as a tag team, so that settles one question.
The other is who’s going to get Lashley first?
Sure, hyping up Kofi Kingston and MVP is easy and obvious after last week, but with Kingston challenging Lashley we have no doubt he’ll want a piece of Lashley.
As for Xavier Woods, he’s going to be looking for payback after Lashley mauled him after their Hell in a Cell match a couple of weeks back, but will he be 100% and will his injuries give Lashley and MVP the edge?
We expect Kingston and Woods to pull out the victory here to infuriate Lashley and give Kingston the edge as they head into next week.
