‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set for this episode with some spoilery goodies, so let’s dive in and see what’s rocking in Genoa City.
One of the major storylines is a truth coming out at Devon Hamilton (Bryton James)’s party, and we’re curious what it’ll be.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, July 7: In the open
There are a couple of possibilities for what truth will be revealed in the magical confines of Devon’s party, and we’re thinking it’s one or two things.
The first is Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) was intent on bringing her sister along, as we think it could be to announce what she’s being coerced into doing and what she thinks happened.
It’ll be a shock to Imani Benedict (Leigh-Ann Rose) to hear this, and Amanda could use that to her advantage to test her sister and see what Imani really thinks when she’s confronted by so many faces.
Imani could also be the one to throw the idea out there about their grandfather’s crime, which would shock Amanda but could lead to anyone there that’s heard of something coming forward.
Another possibility is this will be when Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) officially break the news about Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi)’s illness.
It’ll be something many heard about but weren’t sure was real, and talk could turn to it being Adam’s doing when Victor was really the one pushing the idea.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, July 7: Billy take a bold step
With everyone oohing and ahhing at Devon’s party, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will approach Ashland with a bold offer to purchase his company to help strengthen Chance Comm.
We expect this to be something that’ll make Ashland think, and it’s very possible that Billy will point out that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is at the head of Newman Enterprises at Victor’s whim.
This is a point we’re surprised no one has brought up before as Victor is allowing Victoria to do her thing until he’s had enough and yanks back on the reigns and takes control and/or replaces her.
Between the offer and this possible information, if Billy chooses to share it, Ashland could have second doubts about his plans to merge companies with Newman Enterprises.
Plus, Victoria won’t be too happy at Billy trying to swoop in and steal her deal out from under her, but it could be for the better if she can’t guarantee Victor won’t take it and Newman Enterprises over.
How this will play out is anyone’s guess, but it would be pretty cool to see Billy get another one over on Victor and stymy any attacks once Victor overrides Adam.
