‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set with some spoilery goodies to help get everyone warmed up for the next episode.
Things in Genoa City have slowed to a crawl once again as we wait for the next big development, but there’s still some interesting events underway.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) is going to have some technical problems that’ll leave her out of touch and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is going to lose her stuffing.

The fear a mother has for her child being harmed is one thing, but when it could be while someone else is carrying it must be on a whole other level.
The show has gone to great lengths to make sure Abby will lose her stuffing if something happens to her baby, and this feels like another benchmark to ramp up the feels.
Mariah will either be in a dead zone or her phone’s battery will need to be charged. Either way, Abby won’t be able to get a hold of her and it’ll lead to a panic and emotional breakdown of the worst kind.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, July 8: Chloe on the hot seat
While that disaster is being unraveled, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is going to find herself on the hotseat as Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will try to get some answers out of her.
He hasn’t bought into Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s version of things and he’s going to keep pushing until something shakes loose.
What’s going to be fun here is Chloe won’t turn on Chelsea or do anything to hurt her, but could she strike a deal with Michael and the DA’s office to keep them out of trouble?
It’s possible, but someone’s going to have to do some time, so things could get interesting pretty quickly.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, July 8: Rey’s pincers movement
Speaking of shaking things loose, it looks like Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will convince Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) it’s a good idea for him to reunite Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) with their son.
CBS “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers have a feeling this is going to be Rey’s effort to get Chelsea to lower her guard so he can get to the truth as well.
With so many digging around, we doubt Victor’s secret will remain hidden for long, and though Chelsea and Chloe could pay the price, they could be given protection if they turn state’s evidence against Victor.
Wouldn’t that ne a nice change of pace to see Victor in prison for playing the system? It had our vote for a cool twist, but what do you think?
