Bray Wyatt is one of the weirdest releases through the over 50 releases from WWE. Some of them have already appeared on AEW with the likes of Andrade and Malakai Black, to name a few. There are also more rumours of others joining the company. However, Bray Wyatt now falls into that category of wrestlers that are likely to sign with AEW. Bray Wyatt was released on July 31, and in the latest Wrestling Observer Radio, it has been speculated that Bray Wyatt will end up signing with Bray Wyatt.
What was said on the Observer Radio?
“From here (Punk’s debut), we’re going to see. And he’s (Punk) obviously not the only return. We’re going to see a lot of different people coming up, including Bray Wyatt, so let me get that out of the way.”
He went to say this:
“It’s not 100%, his non-compete not up, but it’s most likely happening. It’s at the same stage as when I said Aleister Black long before it happened. It’s not, I don’t think there’s pen to paper or anything like that, but it’s an expectation that’s pretty strong, let’s put it that way.”
These quotes were sourced from Wrestletalk.
Bray Wyatt’s non compete ends on October 31, making it a long way off before we will see Bray in AEW. However, weirder things have happened, and I wouldn’t put past Bray to turn up early for some reason or another.
