Lana being a new WWE heel mastermind may be a stretch, but there are so many ways we can go with the recent Raw spoilers that this has become more of a game. And possibly more entertaining than the actual events we’ll witness.
So, while everyone, including us, has been postulating over who could be Lana’s baby daddy, why don’t we go in a slightly different direction.
Lana is the new heel
Yeah, I know this isn’t a foregone conclusion or even something new. I’m sure we’ve all thought she had worked her magic over Bobby Lashley and Rusev at some point.
But what if there’s more to it than them?
According to the alleged timeline, only Rusev should be the father.
Now, she could be lying to infuriate Bobby Lashley into attacking Rusev further. It could be her way of holding sway over the two men and it’d only be a matter of time before she becomes drunk on it and moves on.
Maybe there’s a fourth party
Vince McMahon is a master manipulator and former WWE heel mastermind himself, so why would he stop at a simple love triangle?
In fact, his Mr. McMahon character has a history with the various women on the show during the Attitude Era, and while that kind of extent goes against his PG Era, it doesn’t mean he won’t use subtlety.
In many ways, he, or even Shane, would be perfect for this part. They sign Rusev to keep his wife near, or just to keep him happy while they continue their love affair.
While this would put the fans’ ire squarely on the McMahons for involving themselves in yet another storyline, it’d leave Lana the opportunity to stretch her legs and announce that she’s manipulated them all. She’d laugh, we’d groan, and the three victims would cry, curse, threaten, and stomp around.
It’d instantly push her to the top of the company’s heel pile, making her a force behind the scenes that can promise riches or famine for those whose paths she crosses.
It’d give her the opportunity to create her own stable and possibly become one of the most powerful people in character.
Of course, this would mean Vince McMahon and WWE creative would have to invest heavily in a female centric storyline that wouldn’t involve in ring action with the women’s division or bikini matches.
This would be pretty cool and worth seeing, assuming they do it right.
Imagine Lana as a WWE heel mastermind. Would it be fun or not?
