‘7 Little Johnstons’ Spoilers told that we have seen the Johnstons from TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons go through a lot of life changes. One of the newest changes in their lives is the fact that Trent Johnston has decided to change his career.
His fans aren’t too pleased about the news, but he is very excited to share this good news and he seems very proud. Fans are concerned that he has not made the best choice and we are unsure why they think this.
‘7 Little Johnstons’: His New Career
For many years, Trent has been in sales. His wife, Amber Johnston is a teacher, and their son, Jonah Johnston is a car salesman. Trent has given Jonah a hard time about his job choice, but it seems that now, Trent is selling cars!
Trent continued to tell Jonah that he would not make any money if he was going to sell cars and he would only be working on commission. Jonah told his parents over and over again that he would do a great job at it and it would give him enough money to pay his bills and his rent.
This all came up when Amber and Trent asked Jonah to move out and get a place of his own. Jonah has continued to work very hard at his job and Trent’s fans think it’s pretty telling that he is now selling cars.
Trent’s latest Instagram post revealed his new career choice. He shared a picture with him and a happy customer and captioned it, “1st of many sales to come!” Of course, fans were quick to point out how much grief they gave Jonah for selling cars.
One wrote, “And they gave Jonah grief about this not being a steady income job?? Interesting. Hope it works out.” Another wrote, “I hope you apologized to Jonah.” One more chimed in with, “So Trent ripped on Jonah for selling cars, just to start selling cars?
I love it. This is parenting in a nutshell.” One last fan wrote, “I didn’t see it as they gave Jonah a hard time, but of being realistic with any commission-based job having ups and downs. They were telling Jonah not to base his expectations on the top sellers as every sales person is different. Got to be able to pay rent during downs as well as ups.”
We are happy for Trent and we hope that he can do well at selling cars and we also hope he apologized to Jonah about his job choice.
