’90 Day Fiancé’ Spoilers finds that season three has introduced some new faces. Among the new cast members are Steven Johnston and his fiancée Alina, who have kept a low profile. For viewers who are curious to know about the couple, here’s what you need to know. 

90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way follows the story of Americans who travel abroad to live with their foreign spouses. Viewers watch the couples encounter language barriers, culture and religious difference which have led to breakups and low success rate. Some of the cast members that fans will see include fan favorites, Kenny Niedermeier and Armando Rubio and new couple Steven and Alina. 

The new couple could face religious issues because twenty-five year old Steven is a devout member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, also known as the Mormon church, and twenty-year-old Alina was wary of his involvement in the church and thinks it may be a cult.

 

They met on a language learning app. While Steven was learning Russia, Alina wanted to improve her English. While Steven holds a master’s degree, his love interest is still studying online at an American University. 

Steven and Alina both have private Instagram, so it appears that they are trying to stay out of the spotlight even though they are going to be featured on a reality show.  Steven is a self-proclaimed gamer, while his partner loves digital illustration and traveling. The trailer for season 3 shows that Steven and Alina have quite different personalities. Steven is wild and Alina is more reserved.

 

Viewers of the show will most likely see the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the couples. Steven and Alina’s wedding plans was paused due to the lockdown in Russia. They planned to tie the knot in Turkey, but they had relationship problems such as possible cheating scandals.

 

Steven and Alina seemed to be so happy to see each other when they embraced at the airport in Russia. However, it is obvious that their different personalities might hurt their journey down the aisle. Viewers will have to watch and see how it turns works out for them.
