‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to keep things rolling with some spoilery goodies.
Looks like our weekly climax is here and it’s going to be the big reveal we’ve been hearing about for weeks.
Will it live up to the hype or fall flat on arrival? One thing’s for sure, and that the acceptance of Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi)’s admission being accepted.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, September 15: Coming clean
As we saw with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), Ashland will share the story about his abusive father and leaving home at 16 to forge his own path.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have an instant bond with him while still having some doubts, but those will go away when he realizes Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) won’t believe that’s it.
Victor and the rest of the Newmans will happily dance on Billy as they continue trying to figure out if there’s anything more to his past.
To be fair, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers expect the one that sent the messages to appear before too long and he’ll be Ashland’s brother, cousin, or someone that knows him from back then.
His game will be to take over Ashland’s company and money and it’ll start the next Newman storyline with Victoria.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday, September 15: Lily steps up
After learning Ashland’s big secret was really a bonding opportunity with the Newmans and the verbal beatdown he’s sure to get, Billy will be questioning his instincts and future at Chance Comm.
When he gets back to the office or home, he’ll tell Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) about it and how he’s feeling.
She’ll try to reason with him that not everything works out and he’s been right most of the time, but it may not work and he’ll talk about quitting the company.
This will show the writer’s turning super lazy to avoid conflicts did so for a reason, and it’ll help push Billy back into his old habits which will give them a chance to do another Fallen Billy angle.
And Victor will be right, and that’ll give him another reason to beat his chest and gloat.
This has potential to be an interesting storyline if they go this way, but we’re definitely not fans of it when Billy finally got everything straightened out after years of trying.
