Bray Wyatt is the next rumoured wrestler to sign with AEW, but there is currently nearly no information on whether Bray Wyatt will sign with the company. The only information we currently have on the subject is that Bray Wyatt has signed with AEW. He would have opted out of his 90-day non-compete.
He could have been in discussion with AEW since July 31. It’s possible that Bray might have been discussing his contract with both Impact and AEW, as that is the current rumour. That may be the reason why the rumour of him signing with either both started so early. However, there are many signs pointing to Bray Wyatt going to AEW on the next episode of Dynamite in Rochester.
Dark Order started to crack
Since Bray Wyatt’s release, the Dark Order has been acting very weird, with it looking like they are going to split right down the middle. It doesn’t seem like this would have been so heavily teased if something big wasn’t going to happen with Dark Order. With Bray Wyatt being very close to Brodie Lee.
It’s likely that Bray Will take over half of the Dark Order, at least. It’s possible that this story will end with Bray Wyatt coming to AEW, and this story has been part of his discussion since the start. If that is the case, Bray would have been talking to AEW near when he was released. He isn’t allowed to speak about contract agreements until the non-compete is over, making it likely that he opted out of his compete clause.
Rochester is the best place for Bray Wyatt to return to the ring
Then there is the fact that the next AEW show is in Brodie Lee’s hometown of Rochester. If Bray Wyatt is paying tribute to Brodie Lee by taking over from the Dark Order and like CM Punk, he will be inspired to go to AEW because of Brodie Lee. Rochester is the best place for him, too, and the best place for the Dark Order to progress into its next stage.
