‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re all set with some spoilery goodies for what looks to be the ultimate smackdown that’ll shake Tuscany to its bedrock.
Okay, it won’t be that bad, but it’s going to be glorious watching everyone reap what they’ve sewn, and we don’t think any of the guilty parties will be spared.
We’re going to grab an extra large popcorn with extra butter for this one. No need to skimp on the treats this time.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, October 7: Damage control
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) thought they were going to attend a wonderful wedding, but it looks like they’ll scurry around to contain things when Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) goes on a rampage.
To be clear, ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think Victoria has every reason to tear into everyone that tried to hide the truth from her, but she deserves plenty of the blame, too.
She wanted to go ahead with the merger without doing some massive digging or listening to her father.
She wanted to rush into a marriage against the advice of her father, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
So there’s plenty of blame to go around, but we’re all for Ashland Locke (Richard Burghi), Victor, and the rest that stood by and tried to hide the truth getting their just desserts.
They didn’t trust her to make a decision and tried to hide everything. Meanwhile, Nick and Billy are the outcasts because they refused to leave things buried to come up and bite her later on.
And this leads to a whole other can of worms that’s going to get kicked over.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, October 7: Billy’s move
With everything lining up like he expected, Billy’s going to lay the groundwork for a deal while preparing to gather all the facts for an article that’ll blow Newman Enterprises into orbit.
While he won’t know what’s happening in Tuscany, at least we assume he won’t, he’ll plan to go ahead like it’s business as usual.
There’s a possibility for a plot twist here as he could decide to hold onto the information and share it with Victoria first rather than let it be spread across the headlines.
She won’t be receptive to much at the moment, but the gesture could win back some of her confidence in him to the point he’s not her boogeyman like he is Victor’s.
It’ll be an interesting moment for him, and we’re curious how it’ll play out.
