Diamond Mine already has the NXT Cruiserweight Championship with Roderick Strong, The Creed Brothers are well on their way to the NXT Tag Team Championships – and Ivy Nile could be in the hunt for the NXT Women’s Championship soon. The sole female member of Diamond Mine is a walking weapon, and will show that as she makes her debut tonight on NXT 2.0. Not just her NXT debut – but her professional wrestling debut.
Swerve Is Mad, And Ivy Nile Is A Machine
Before this match, we’d catch up with Isaiah “Swerve” Scott. Legado Del Fantasma has picked off Hit Row, and lit a fire in him. We might see him embody an old persona of Killshot for tonight’s big main event. Legado Del Fantasma might have made a huge mistake, and Swerve could take the NXT North American Championship to Smackdown Live for it.
Nile would kick off her first match with some grappling – facing off with Valentia Feroz. She’d jump into a suplex from Nile. The power of Nile is insane, and Feroz would be thrown across the ring with ease. Wade Barrett would compare her to Beth Phoenix, as she once again showcased some power with a huge scoop slam.
She’d roll Forez into a Firemans Carry, but Feroz fought out before being put in the torture rack. Nice to see someone bringing back that classic submission hold, and Nile could be ready to tear through this division.
Ikeman Jiro Brings Style Strong To Diamond Mine
Bivens would proclaim that was a message to everyone, saying that The Creed Brothers are the most dominant tag team in NXT. But as he tried to hype Roderick Strong – Ikeman Jiro would come to look for a title shot. He was ready for action tonight, and so was Julius Creed who took a shotei to the face.
Creed is mostly here for tags, but he’d nail a big chop block to the knee of Jiro before throwing him aside. A charge into the corner would catch Jiro, and Creed was showing some skill as he hit another big suplex. He’d miss an elbow drop, and take some heavy strikes from Jiro.
His strikes are deadly, trained by Taijri himself, and his unique style would catch Creed off guard. Creed went outside and took a springboard moonsault, but back in the ring nailed a huge spinebuster and sliding lariat to silence Jiro. Diamond Mine beat Jiro down in the ring, and KUSHIDA made his return but hesitated to punch out Ivy Nile and took End of Heartache for his troubles.
