The WWE Survivor Series 2019 Kickoff Show is deep underway, as we’re about ten minutes away from the start of the main card at the time of writing. The last match of the Kickoff just took place, a truly thrilling contest between three teams that clearly wanted to prove that they belonged on that main show. WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Erik & Ivar – The Viking Raiders – took on the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and Big E – The New Day – and the NXT Tag Team Champions Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly of the Undisputed Era.
After a bout full of shock and awe, high spots and brutal drops, it was the Viking Raiders who came out on top. Even though they’ve somewhat struggled to get over with heavy pushing over the past several months, the extremely talented, experienced tandem of Erik and Ivar came away with a really major victory. It’s nice to see that they aren’t giving up on them. With any luck, more people will start coming around and understanding just how good this team is
.The Viking Raiders Defeat The New Day And The Undisputed Era
The New Day and the Undisputed Era of course put forth some incredible performances as well. Tag team wrestling is an awesome thing, even if the positioning on the card could easily make most people think otherwise.
This counts as a win for Raw, evening things up at 1-1-1 as we go into the main card.
