Robert Pattinson, who is the next Batman, is set to finally bring the Dark Knight back into his own movie franchise. In the new movie, we will most likely see the Riddler in the new light. There are already talks of Batman Vs. Joker is happening, with many suggesting that Kristen Stewart should play the Joker in the upcoming movies. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Steward have worked on a movie franchise before with Twilight.
Too many Jokers
At the moment, in the DC Universe, there is already a Joker that could be part of Pattinson’s Batman story. One of them is very unlikely, Jared Leto, who is part of Ben Affleck Batman rather than Pattinsons. Next, there is Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker, who currently does not have a Batman.
There would be a lot of fans who would rather Joaquin Phoenix as the Joker instead of him fitting in the new Batman universe. Finally, there is a place for Kristen Stewart’s Joker in the DC Universe.
There is a time and a Universe
A female Joker does have its own story within the DC Comics. With the Flashpoint story saw Flash changed the present and changed the story of Batman. Instead of Bruce Wayne’s family dying, it is instead Bruce Wayne himself that dies with his dad taking up the mantle of Batman.
The most shocking part here, however, is that his Mother turns into the Joker. So if Kristen Stewart is to become a Joker, the best place to do it would be in the upcoming movie Flash Flashpoint.
