Big E is the current Raw Champion and has not done that much as champion, but it looks like it will belong as Big E hasn’t won many belts in his WWE career. But he has been a part of one of the best factions in WWE, and with that come many different pitches.
However, Big E has now revealed one of the pitches he himself turned down. In an interview with Breakfast Club Power 105.1 FM, Big E also went into detail about the freedom the New Day got in comparison to other wrestlers. It makes sense that the New Day do all get some freedom as their promos feel very different and fresh and have their own style to them.
What pitch got turned down?
“Nothing too crazy. Years ago, they asked me if I could do a pec dance. A dude called Chris Masters used to pop his pecs rhythmically, and I do a lot of silly nonsense, but I was like, ‘I ain’t trying to do all that.”
Big E surprisingly doesn’t go into detail on why he didn’t want to do that, as a pec dance feels like it could very much fit into Big E’s character. Big E is the current champion and is set up to go against Seth Rollins, where the feud will most likely have multiple matches. If he will keep the championship for the Survivor Series is unknown, but a match with Roman Reigns feels very likely at the moment.
