Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna’s daughter Delilah Belle Hamlin has spoken out on her health following the news that she was hospitalised because of an overdose.

Delilah, for her part, had apparently been taking Xanax. This is a tranquilliser that helps people deal with their anxiety disorders. But given that she had become so dependent on it, things started to get out of hand rather quickly.
This begs the question, what made her so anxious? Well, it turns out that Delilah had suffered a reaction to the Covid 19 vaccine. Therefore, she started to panic when she constantly became sick.
That is when she turned to medication. In a post to her fans on Instagram, she said: “Basically [the vaccine] flared up and triggered certain autoimmune diseases that I didn’t know I had.
“I was having panic attacks — it was like my body was in constant ‘fight or flight’ mode.” Naturally, Delilah knew that she had to act to get this dealt with.
In response, she sought out the best medical care that she could find. Sadly for her, though, the specialist that she was seeing ended up creating more problems than a solution.
But given that she needed help so badly, she was willing to do whatever it took to solve it. She added: “For the panic attacks, they were so bad that I had to find a psychiatrist.
“I found this guy, and he … over-prescribed me. My body got dependent on Xanax, No. 1, and No. 2, I overdosed.”
But before fans get themselves into a frenzy, Delilah clarified that she did not intentionally take an overdose. She simply did not judge whether the amount she was inducing was appropriate.
And the stress surrounding her general health did not do her any favours too. She continued: “I didn’t mean to [overdose] at all. I overdosed on this one medication called Propranolol.
“I took Benadryl with it, and, for some reason, I ended up in the hospital.” Let us hope that Delilah can get back to her usual self, and the fans will be there to support her every step of the way.
