CM Punk had a heated confrontation with Eddie Kingston last week on AEW Rampage, and that had the fans absolutely buzzing. Everyone wants to see these two legends of their era clash for the first time ever. Punk is someone who keeps his ear to the fans, and he’s caught wind of this, and would get some time tonight on AEW Dynamite to address this potential match – among other issues, specially why Jon Moxley isn’t here tonight, and why no one should have anger about this.
First, He Needs To Speak About Jon Moxley
The entrance of CM Punk still hasn’t gotten old after months of it coming weekly. However this week, he looked more serious than usual – something was on his mind for sure. He’s not in the best mood – and wants to get serious for a few minutes. Two people aren’t here today. One has a legitimate reason, Jon Moxley. He’s off fighting a bigger battle than planned, and deserves the respect of the fans – and Punk called for a big Moxley chant.
He’s got some history with Mox, and they’re not the best friends – but he still knows the battle he’s fighting. Being a top star is tiring, Punk walked away because of that. Everyone has their demons, and Punk is extremely proud of him. If anyone watching needs help, reach out and get it. There’s nothing harder than asking for help, but nothing more important. Speaking from personal experience, this is true. Help is out there, and often closer than you think.
Calling Out Eddie Kingston To Meet Him On Rampage
However the second man not here tonight, is Eddie Kingston. Kingston embarrassed himself last week on Rampage. Punk would fight him, but he’s not here. Full Gear is an option, but this Friday in St. Louis? Punk will be there, if Kingston is big enough to accept.
Also, he did want to get into the Eliminator tournament, but Miro got the spot – so fans will have to wait to see Punk take on Orange Cassidy, or face Danielson. However, his focus on Kingston took that away, so blame Kingston – not Punk.
