Viewers will recall Corey revealing that he’d given his partner, Evelin $30,000 to invest in properties, $6000 to buy a car, and $2000 to invest in the cocktail bar when they were dating, so they thought Evelin was a gold digger because they were not yet married.

They became more suspicious when she demanded for a $50,000. Evelin later revealed that Corey didn’t give more than $200 for the beach bar in an Instagram Q&A session, and that she already had her cocktail bar before she met him. She also admitted that they live off their income from a new bar that they have in a different location.
However, fans feel cheated by their storyline on the show. As they prepare for their wedding on the show, Corey decided to answer some of his fans’ questions.
A fan asked him if he went to college in the U.S, and he replied, saying “Yes, I graduated from Washington State University,” and added that he had a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Production & Communications with a Film Studies Minor.

The TLC star continued to share what he enjoys about being on the other side of the TV. He revealed that his favorite part of being on television is seeing the “scenes come together after the edit.” He also likes to find out what actually airs and what gets deleted.
A fan asks him if his partner, Evelin is as mean as they see on the show, and he said, “she’s nice” and asked the fan to come “visit sometime,” probably hinting that the edit having made her look like a villain on the show.
Corey and Evelin tied the knot secretly on June 11, 2019, in Guayaquil, Ecuador. But he told his fans to wait for 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way to announce when they would have their second wedding or if it is even happening. On the show, Evelin says she wants a divorce from Corey and he has refused to sign the papers. However, it seems they are currently in Nicaragua, while fans keep wondering if they are still a couple.
