Jordan Huie of the Overtimer here to give you the live recap of what goes on tonight with WWE Starrcade 2019! And man does writing ‘WWE Starrcade’ feel bizarre, even for a younger fan like myself… it’s going on as we speak and won’t be on the air for too long so we’ll be keeping track of it as much we can. I’ll be giving you the results of the whole show as it occurs, even the vast majority of it which we won’t see!
Speaking of what we won’t see, it turns out that Last Man Standing match between Bobby Lashley and Rusev was never going to happen after all. Lana and Bobby Lashley made their way out for the advertised main event, only for Lana to announce that she’d put out another restraining order on Rusev, thereby keeping him from entering the arena.
Therefore, the Last Man Standing match between Rusev and Bobby Lashley has been cancelled.
After supposedly accepting a victory by forfeit, Kevin Owens emerged to try and set things right, not wanting the show to close on a note like this. An argument ensues with him ripping into Lashley and Lana, only for yet another impromptu match to occur. For those keeping count, that’s three matches to broadcast on this show, two of them being unannounced.
As I type this, that match is still ongoing so I will be posting about the result ASAP.

Lana and Bobby Lashley make their way out to rip on Rusev before letting us know that the scheduled Last Man Standing Match will not be happening after all. Lana explains that she filed a restraining order against that monster of a man in the city of Atlanta, meaning he can not be in the building tonight. Therefore, Bobby Lashley will accept the victory in the form of a forfeit.
But then, Kevin Owens emerges! He says he cannot in all conscience let this happen! We started the show with Kevin Owens and Ric Flair, we won’t finish it with Bobby Lashley and Lana! Owens yells that nobody cares about the two of you and your stupid relationship! Lana yells at him to shut up. Owens rips into Lana’s faked Russian accent for years and their careers since they got together. Lashley says if he wants to get the ass whuppin’ that Rusev was gonna get, he can come into this ring! Owens is going for it!
