‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to kick off the week with some fun spoilery goodies and another attempt to bandage a Newman family rupture.
It looks like there’s some other fun storylines in store for us as well as there’s potential seeds for a couple of storylines if the writers want to explore them, and they can go several directions.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 13: Nikki the cleaner
Once again, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be called up to try to fix a rift in the Newman family.
As always, we expect her to put her heart into it and try every tactic she has nearly weekly for years, but we’re not sure Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is ready to forgive and forget yet.
Nick’s had the veil lifted on his father and family in general, and it may take some time for him to work through all of this.
But Nikki’s very persuasive and Nick will always be the one to give in to be accepted.
In this case, we’re curious if Nikki will let Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) have it as she was more or less on Nick’s side on this.
Not that it’ll matter since Victor’s always right, but it would be nice to see him be the one to apologize and not excuse or rationalize what he did for once.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Monday, December 13: Amanda’s cooking something
This is going to be a nice shifting of gears as we head from a dysfunctional family unit to one that’s running pretty smooth and may have some fun surprises in store.
Chances are this will be nothing more than Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) cooking a special dinner for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to help him relax as he’s had a lot on his mind lately.
It’ll be a touching scene and moment between them as she’ll try her hand at some of her favorites as well as his and it’ll do the trick.
But there’s another possibility ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers think would be a pretty fun storyline.
How about Amanda announces she’s pregnant?
It’s odd timing since she and her sister are going to open their own law practice, but Amanda’s more than capable of handling it with Devon’s help.
It’ll also give Devon the chance to finally be a father since he signed away his rights to Dominic, but we doubt that’ll happen yet.
It’d be a happy ending during a time where the show doesn’t allow those for anyone.
