‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out with some fun spoilery goodies.
It looks like we’re going to be a mostly toned down episode as we head into the weekend which means Monday’s should be a pretty good one.

‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, December 17: Measuring up
Nothing beats planting the seeds of future competition for someone that’s not interested than by sizing up your direct competition for unwanted affection.
This is the fun endeavor Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) are going to face off in when they finally meet face to face.
It’ll be civil and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will be there to try to get them to agree to work together.
She’ll manage to keep the peace while they size each other up to do battle for Adam Newman (Mark Grossman)’s affections.
It won’t matter that Adam has said no to both, or that they’ll be a bad influence on him and cause all sorts of problems.
Still, gotta give them point for trying and ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are sure it’ll be a fun feud when it gets rolling.
We have a feeling Chloe’s going to be the one to really lose out here.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, December 17: Lily’s savior
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be close to being worn out between absorbing all the information taking over Chancellor Industries and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson)’s ongoing plan.
So it makes sense that Billy’s going to be the one to set up a way to distract her and allow her a chance to unwind and relax.
We expect this to be a touching and caring moment between them that’ll set up something big for next week, and we’re curious what that is.
Until then, it’s going to be fun watching them just enjoy being around each other without concerns or worries about what’s going on outside of their immediate world.
We have plenty of time to find out what’s going to escalate and things go sideways off screen and then enjoy a calm reaction to whatever action was taken.
How bad will Chelsea and Sally’s upcoming battle become and will Chloe talk to either of them afterwards?
