    Impact Wrestling Throwback Throwdown II Live Results (12/18) – IPWF Winter War ‘84

    Hello and welcome to Impact Wrestling Throwback Throwdown II Live Results!

    This is going to be an awesomely  fun show. We’re going to have tons of fun going back to 1984 and we can’t wait.

    We’ll be back at the 8 P.M. EST showtime to kick off Impact Wrestling Throwback Throwdown II Live Results.

    Preshow – “The Mysterious” Mr. E vs. Duke Winchester (Sam Beale)

    This was a fun match to start the show off, and Winchester got the win after hitting a bulldog for the win. He hit a couple of solid moves to set it up.

    To add insult to injury, the audio was 1984 bad (so was some of the moves) and it’s awesome.

    Before the main show opened, we were treated to an old school FBI warning we used to get at the beginning of video tapes.

    Sex Ferguson (Doc Gallows) gave a hilarious promo that took several attempts to get right.

    New main event

    Once he reached the ring, he cut a classic style promo with insult after insult toward the town and got into an argument with the fans before he announced his opponent, Muscles McGee, was detained at the Canadian Border.

    Guiseppe Scovelli, SR (Scott D’Amore) had a great back and forth with Ferguson before he set him up in the main event match in a North Pole Street Fight with Santa Clause.

    Santa came out and clocked Ferguson and knocked him to the floor.

    Chad 2 Badd (Karl Anderson) vs. Bill Ding (Trey Miguel)

    Chants of “Bob the Builder” greeted Ding before he eventually set aside his hard hat. Badd kept Ding down with a casual arm bar as they hammed it up.

    Badd took advantage of Ding missing a leg drop off the ropes with an atomic drop and splash for the win.

    Johnny Swinger and Micky Singer’s video debuted, and it was everything we expected it to be.

    Sunday Morning Express (Ace Reporter, Editor-In-Chief – Chris Sabin) vs. Rhythmic Warriors (Johnny Swinger and Micky Singer

    After a fun back and forth, Singer invented Old School and took Ace Reporter around the world and they was named it New School.

    The Warriors rolled both Morning Express up in simultaneous pins for the win.

    Rip Rayzor (Ace Austing) w/Rusty Iron (Gia Miller) vs. Frank the Butcher (Rhino)

    Frank dominated most of the match, but Rip got some help from Rusty to turn the tide.

    Frank fought back and hit a clothesline for the pin.

    After the match, Rusty went after Frank, but Rip “cut his throat with a spike from behind.

    Georgia Cobb (Jordynne Grace) vs. Ladybird Johnston (Havok)

    Johnston attacked Cobb outside the ring before the match started, then when match started Cob locked in a sleeper but Johnson powered out of it.

    Johnson dominated the match, then headed to the floor to grab a tire iron but the ref took it from her, and Cobb hit a Roll Through for the win.

    Quincey Cozmos (Rohit Raju) vs. Guiseppe Scovelli, JR (Josh Mathews)

    Cozmos gained the upper hand, but JR fought back and hit an atomic drop and hurricarana.

    After Cozmos pulled him into the ropes and went after him, JR fought back and nearly scored a pinfall after hitting kick off the ropes.

    JR hit a Codebreaker for the pin and SR came in to count the pin.

    Music battle – DJ 2Large (Moose) vs. Pelvis Wesley (Heath) w/Colonel E. Corn (John E. Bravo)

    After He interrupted DJ, Pelvis gave a really bad rendition of Rudolf and then attacked DJ from behind. After DJ had Pelvis on the ropes, Colonel distracted DJ for Pelvis to his a low blow and then take DJ out with his guitar.

    4-Corners Bullrope Match – Badlands Bart (Larry D) vs. “Hard” Harry Hall (Jake Something

    We love how Gordie gave Hard Harry Hall the moniker Triple H and says “it won’t stick”.

    Bart got to a single corner to tap it a couple of times before he was impeded and had to start over, then Hall got to three before Bart stopped him.

    Hall got to three again, but Bart stopped him with a spinebuster.

    Bart had Hall wrapped in the rope behind him, so Hall tapped the first three corners behind him, then flipped over Bart to tap the last corner for the win.

    Ima Belle (Deonna Purrazzo) vs. Rusty Iron (Gia Miller) w/Rip Rayzor (Ace Austin)

    Belle started out fast, but Rusty took over with some brutal strikes and locked in a Camel Clutch. Belle fought back and hit a somersault splash for the win.

    After the match, Rip got in her face and Frank came out with a tube still in his throat to save the day. His cleaver was definitely a difference maker.

    Tim Burr (Josh Alexander) vs. Erik “The Red” Wood (W. Morrissey)

    Wood has never been taken off his feet, and Burr is intent on doing that after he took credit for doing so to Big John Studd and Andre the Giant.

    But after a series of shoulder blocks, Wood sent Burr to the floor with a clothesline and then Wood hammered on him when he came back into the ring.

    Burr fought out of a bearhug and body slammed Wood and followed it with a leg drop for the win.

    Jazzy Fitbody (Madison Rayne) vs. Wanda the Werewoman (Savanah Evans) w/The $237,000 Man

    Jazzy tried to get Wanda to exercise with her, and then do the Thriller dance. Wanda decided not to, and grabbed Jazzy and threw her across the ring.

    After Jazzy fought back, Wanda caught her off the ropes and bit her for the DQ loss.

    S.T.O.M.P. In Paradise (GI Broski and Bryan Bonecrunching) (Matt Cardona and Brian Myers) vs. The Russians (Sergei the Siberian and Stalingrad Strangler) (Madman Fulton and Tony Gunn)

    Broski and Stalingrad started it off, with Broski hitting the first move, and then a shoulderblock.

    Bryan and Sergei traded blows with Sergei getting the upper hand and went to work. Bryan did a switcheroo, and Sergei hit a dozen or so armbreakers on Stalingrad before he realized it.

    Broski hit a neckbreaker on Stalingrad for Bryan to get the pin. They stole the rest of Gordie’s beer at the announce table to celebrate.

    North Pole Street Fight – International Commonwealth Television Championship – Sex Ferguson (Doc Gallows) (c) vs. Santa Clause (Willie Mack)

    It didn’t take long for the action to spill to the floor, and Santa hit Ferguson below the equator, then his him with a crutch. Ferguson recovered by grabbing a can of beer and drinking some, then steal a fans’ hot dog for a bite.

    Santa put a Unicorn mask on Ferguson and sent him into the ring where he rode him like a horse, then hit a dropkick.

    Ferguson grabbed a steel chair and set it between the ropes and threw Santa into it for a near pinfall.

    Ferguson was going to hit Santa with a can of beer, but he couldn’t bring himself to do it and drank it instead.

    Santa caught him with another low kick, drank a beer, and hit a stunner and senton for the win.

    Santa removed his mask to reveal Downton Daddy Brown (Willie) and he’s got his championship back.

    The locker room came out to celebrate and each grabbed a beer to celebrate.

    Santa handed out wiffle baseball and bats to the kids at ringside to close out the show.

    This was an awesome show from top to bottom and we have to give special thanks to Josh Mathews and Matt Striker on commentary. They were awesome together.
