‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close the week out and head into Christmas in style.
It looks like we’re going to have another soul searching standalone episode as Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will get a peak at all the good and bad people he’s dealt with this year and possibly beyond.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, December 24: Nick has Help Putting his Naughty and Nice List Together
This feels like a similar Ghosts From the Past type of show like we’ve seen with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) over the last few months.
Introspective episodes can be fun, and this one has potential as it’ll be a chance for Nick to put together a list of friends and enemies, but it’ll also help him work through his recent problems.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, December 24: Finding his place
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers are looking forward to this episode with the hope that Nick will realize he doesn’t have to give in all the time.
We doubt that’ll happen as it’s been a staple of it life, born from having the issue of looking at things as right or wrong and expecting others to have the same morals.
It’s the biggest point of contention between he and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) as Victor has no problem in breaking the law to suit his purpose and protect his family, while Nick tries to be above that.
It’s a cool dynamic between the two as Victor had to come up the hard way and carve his own path with decisions that should haunt him to this day but probably don’t.
Nick has had the easier time of it, and when they find themselves at odds it’s always Nick that crawls back dragging his jellyfish of a spine behind him.
We think this episode will go into that, and he’ll realize he can’t hold his family and others to his ideals, which will allow him to accept them easier and continue to suffer silently as they go about their business.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Friday, December 24: New Nick
He has a chance to come out of this stronger, but we suspect he’ll be more alone the lines of what Victor expects, and that could lead to some pretty cool storylines down the road.
Nick will be emotional and forgiving to everyone when it’s over, and we’re curious how long it’ll last or will he allow the next disagreement to set him back once more?
Let us know who you think will be on his list, good and bad, in the comments below and check back with ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation.
