The WWE is going all out for this year’s Royal Rumble by bringing in Superstars from all over to participate, but there’s one they left out.
Trish Stratus is arguable the best ever in many fans’ opinions, and since she hasn’t been announced it’s brought up a discussion about whether she’ll appear or not.
To be fair, Trish is busy as a judge on Canada’s Got Talent, but there is the possibility of her making a surprise appearance is there as she explained when she appeared on the Bellas podcast.

“I am filming the semifinals. They do wrap up at a certain time. I’ll be in that headspace, so that’s sort of my focus at the moment. That’s what I have to do. You know how intense it is, I have to be in it.”
Joining the Legends’ movement
Personally, we hope Trish is able to take part as we always love seeing her in action, and seeing her join other legends like Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion Mickie James, Lite, Rummer Rae, and Nikki and Brie Bella would be awesome.
And when we look at the current talent taking part, there’s so much potential for this to be one of the more memorable Rumbles in history.
There are a few ways this could go, and as much as we’d love to see Mickie, Trish, or Lita win, we expect them to be there to draw in viewers and put over Bianca Belair and other younger talent.
We could be wrong, and it’d be a cool change of pace of one of the legends makes it to the last couple like Edge did would stir more than memories.
It could rejuvenate the fans and get us more involved.
In the end, it comes down to what Vince McMahon thinks is best, and he’s shown fans’ opinions don’t matter much in the grand scheme of things.
He’s intent on the younger talent getting over and he’s not wrong to want that, but mixing it up keeps fans on our toes.
In this case, there aren’t many ways to mess this up aside from an injury, and we expect Lita to go the furthest of the women to further her growing feud with Charlotte Flair.
We’re looking forward to seeing what surprises are in store for us and what feuds will come out of it for the weeks to come as we begin the Road to WrestleMania.
