We open the show with Seth Rollins, Buddy Murphy and the AOP – Akam & Rezar, all standing in the middle of the ring. Rollins welcomes us to Monday Night Raw and of course introduces himself as the Monday Night Messiah. Says this name that they’ve chosen for him, at first, he wasn’t quite sure of. But he’s come to understand that the people struggle to speak from the heart, so he will lead them into the future. Shows a clip of what happened last week, with AOP and Murphy beating Owens and the Viking Raiders, only for them to later cost him a shot at the WWE Championship. Says that forgiveness is a virtue but his patience is growing very thin when it comes to Kevin Owens and his friends. Rollins claims that they are not here to preach a message of divisiveness, they are hear to preach a message of one-ness and they will not leave until that message is heard.
Kevin Owens makes his way out.
Big chant of “KO”. Rollins tells Kevin that before he says anything, don’t get in over his head. Claims Joe did that two weeks ago and he got taken out, same with Ivar last week. If he wants to be a martyr, it’s too late, he’s already made the sacrifice. Rollins calls himself the universe’s Monday Night Messiah. Seth says if Kevin stands alone, he will fall alone. Owens says that every week he runs his mouth and sounds stupid as hell and now he looks stupid on top of it. Even though he tells him he talks too much, he just keeps talking. What he does is to just keep fighting. And he says Seth is wrong because he is not alone. Now the Viking Raiders are out to back him up.
Seth says that his problem has never been finding partners, it’s keeping those partners upright if you know what he means. Kev tests this by giving the Viking Raiders shoves, says they seem pretty solid to him and they seem as sick of talking as he is, so… let’s go. Kevin and the Raiders charge down the ramp and Rollins’ cult members go out to fight them! But as they’re brawling, Samoa Joe appears in the ring to get the Coquina Clutch on Rollins! The fight spills into the ring, Murphy eats a Stunner! Faces standing tall.
Becky Lynch makes her way out, looks like her title defense is up next.
