Before the match started, Bayley and Sasha Banks had their tribute video played for WWE Raw fans.
Bayley and Banks jumped the Kabuki Warriors before the bell and during their introduction, but the tables were quickly turned and Banks and Bayley were outside the ring as we head to commercial.
We come back and the bell officially rings. Banks starts off avoiding Asuka, dodging every attempt to lock up as mind games. Bayley tagged, and tries a cheap kick when the referee separates them, btu Asuka caught her foto.
Bayley eventually gains control and tags Banks in for a near fall on Asuka.
Asuka gained some breathing space with a double knee shot to Bayley’s face and tagged in Kairi Sane.
Sane quickly took on both opponents until Banks slipped out of the ring.
After Banks tagged in, a hurricarana sent Bayley out of the ring and then Banks was tossed out with her. A double back bump on them sent them back to the floor.
After countering Sane’s top rope attack, Banks and Bayley throw her into the plexiglass as we go to commercial.
Banks in control
We come back to the action in the ring where Banks has Sane in a reverse chin lock. After a pin attempt, Banks tags Bayley in and they double team Sane in their corner.
Sane hit with a chin breaker, but Bayley drags her back to her and Banks’ corner. Banks tries a quick cover, but Sane kicks out.
Sane hits Bayley with an elbow and kicks Banks to get out of their corner, but Banks stops her. Sane then hit Banks with a spinning backfist and tagged Asuka in to face Bayley.
As Sane did earlier, Asuka takes on both members and nearly scores a pinfall on Bayley.
Bayley countered Asuka by pulling her off the top rope and tagged in Banks, who nearly had a pinfall on Asuka.
Asuka countered a crossbody block by Banks into an Asuka Lock. Sane took out Bayley, but Banks made it to the ropes to break the hold.
Banks rolls up Asuka, but Sane tagged in an then hit an Insane Elbow, but Bayley pulled her out of the ring to save their titles.
Sane climbs the ropes again, and hit with a forearm shot, then an Alabama slam on Banks. She tried a sliding clothesline, but Banks caught her in a Bank Statement for the submission victory.
This was a decent episode that was intent on giving us more in ring action than we’re used to seeing. It wasn’t as good as we’d hope to see going into a pay-per-view as Orton and the Big Show’s match being next Monday instead of Extreme Rules feels off.
