‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers here and we’re all set for another fun Christmas celebration in Salem.
It’s been a fun couple of days as we’ve visited with the Dimeras and Kirikises, and not it’s time to stop by and pay our respects to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall)’s family.
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, December 22: John and Marlena’s Family Celebrates Christmas- Will Returns to Salem, Shawn and Belle Attempt Another Wedding
Like we’ve come to expect, ‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers thinks this will be an episode where the drama is toned down but with enough in it to help move the stories forward and keep us riveted.
Of course, anytime there’s a family get together there’s bound to be a pleasant surprise or two, and it looks like this year’s will be the return of Will Horton (Chandler Massey).
As we learned in the Kiriakis family episode, Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) won’t be with him and that’s disappointing, but it makes sense given various things going on.
Still, there’s going to be a fun moment where we’ll hold our breath as Shawn Brady (Jason Cook) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) are going to attempt another wedding.
While there’s every reason to think they’ll pull this one off, it’s important to remember they’re in Salem and wedding just don’t go off without a hitch and some cussing and fussing.

‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, December 22: Family time
The holidays are the perfect time for friends and family to come together and forget our differences, and that’s where episodes like these really touch the heartstrings.
It’s a great chance for us to see some of our old favorites return even if it is only for an episode or two, and for that reason it’s fun to see Will return.
Of course, he’s going to walk into some drama as the family is still dealing with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and her accusing Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) of said act.
Even more interesting is the moment when Allie and Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) come face to face. Will Allie have the same recognition moment she had with Tripp, or will it be more subtle or not happen?
Of course, this depends on whether Charlie can make it or not now that he’s holding his mother, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) captive.
We have to have some drama thrown in, right?
‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Tuesday, December 22: Another attempt
Add to the potential drama is how Shawn and Belle will attempt to get married again, and given the show’s knack for making weddings difficult in the best of times we’re wary of letting our guard down.
Still, because of the holiday and the fact things have been pleasant this far across the board, we expect this to go off without too much of a hitch.
Now, there is a chance it’ll end with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) bursting on the scene because it’s what she does since she’s allergic to subtlety and not causing drama.
Overall, this looks like it’s going to be a fun one, and we can’t wait to see how the wedding goes.
