We’re just a few short days away from one of the most intense matches in NXT Takeover history. Samoa Joe has been trying to help William Regal regain control from NXT Champion Karrion Kross, and there is only one way to do that. He’s going to have to choke Kross out, and show that he’s still one of the best in the world. However tonight, they simply meet face to face, but we can still expect chaos.
Karrion Kross Plans To Drop Samoa Joe Real Fast Come NXT Takeover 36
Before Kross would even get to the ring, the war of words would begin. Kross would bring security with him, as protection for Joe. He’d ask Joe what he expects to happen at Takeover, how he plans this match will go. The crowd thinks Joe will kill Kross, but Kross thinks he’s gonna drop him, and drop him real fast.
As Kross got into the face of Joe, he’d take a headbutt and Kross rolled out into the security before Joe nailed a suicide dive. The crowd was going absolutely wild as Joe showed he still has it, before he’d drive Kross through the barricade. They’d brawl towards the back, and more security and talent from the back tried to stop this as they were tearing the Capitol Wrestling Center down.
Helping To Build Up This Dangerous Feud
A huge crash through the barricade left both men laying, but Joe would be getting up as NXT would fade to black. There’s nothing like a good brawl to get a match moving, and this was the perfect last bit of build for this match. It’s still unclear if this will be the main event match at Takeover, but it’s looking like the chemistry will be there. Kross has been putting in some strong performances lately, and with Takeover potentially set to be his last, it could be his best yet.
