WWE Friday Night SmackDown rolls on as Braun Strowman emerges with his WWE Universal Championship. Oh… and as he comes out, it appears that at Money In The Bank Braun will be facing Bray instead of the Fiend. I’m surprised by that. Braun says that he debuted with the Wyatt Family but he did not create him. Says Bray’s been using his puppets to talk about him, if Bray’s got something to say to him, he can say it to his face. Out comes Bray Wyatt in his sweater attire, all smiles as he enters the ring and cheerfully says “Hi, Braun!” Bray says it’s a shame that it had to come to this. All he wanted was for him to say he’s sorry. Braun tells him he doesn’t owe him anything and Bray laughs, tells him that’s not true and he knows it. Braun only cares about winning this Sunday. Bray says it’s sad because he cares about him. The creator knows his creation, knows what he’ll do and say… Braun tells him to shut up and says that’s not true. Bray tells him that Braun can be special, just like him. He just needs to relieve that burden that’s around his waist, so he can come home. It’s the only thing standing in his way!
Bray says he needs to get back the Universal Championship… he repeats that he needs to GET that Universal Championship back. Braun tells him he won’t say “Get These Hands” just to prove some point. At Money In The Bank, all this is gonna be over. Bray wants to give him a taste of what’s to come. He pulls out the Black Sheep Mask. And we see the various puppets asking Braun to come home. Braun raises the mic and tells Bray that he is home and he’s got the Universal Championship. This Sunday, he’s gonna keep it and Bray will be stuck playing with his puppets. He says “Bye, see you Sunday!” and gives him a mocking enthusiastic wave. As his music hits and Braun leaves, Bray says he’s sorry, he tried.
Didn’t really get too much more into their history, but there is something of a dynamic here to this relationship. Backstage, Otis Dozovic is going around backstage when Daniel Bryan and Drew Gulak come up to him and ask if he heard what King Corbin said about him earlier. Otis says he was with Mandy so he didn’t, they go off with him.
