There are few things athletes take more seriously than diet and nutrition. Many load their diets with carbs and protein to fuel their growth and energy level.
While there are some that hold to the strictest of diets, it can be a difficult thing to do when on the road and food in general is needed.
Damian Priest and Finn Balor Reveal Shocking Truth about Dom’s Diet
It’s not a surprise given how wrestlers are constantly moving from one town to another for the house shows, and it’s tough fitting everything in sometimes.
So it’s wasn’t a surprise when in an interview Damian Priest and Finn Balor it came up about who is the pickiest easter in Judgment Day.
Without hesitating, Balor and Priest said it’s Dom, and his diet is something we didn’t expect.
Chicken tenders
It looks like the secret to Dom’s diet is chicken tenders. Yep, according to Priest that’s all he eats and if the place they go to doesn’t have them then they have to find another restaurant that does.
He even playfully called Dom an infant over it.
It’s a fun story and it’s obvious it annoys them while also endears them to him.
To be fair, we can’t blame Dom. Chicken tender are pretty awesome, but we’re chuckling away imagining him asking someone to pass the barbecue sauce to dip while he’s trying to stay in character.
For years, we’ve loved finding out what goes on behind closed doors, and this is a pretty cool peek into their outside the ring lives, and we’re sure Dom’s not the only one that has unique eating habits, or habits in general.
Odd habits
There are stories everywhere about different athletes and performers with their eating habits like only brown M&Ms and so on.
It adds to the eccentricity of our favorites, but in Dom’s case it’s more like a comforting tidbit. It’s easy to forget they’re just like us when we see their shenanigans on television, and this is a fun reminder.
Of course, we’re now wondering if he ever tried them in a chicken tender sub or if it’s strictly straight up with dipping sauce. Curious minds and all.
What will be funny is if they ever incorporate this interview into their on screen roles, like say when or if Priest is forced out of the Judgement Day.
If they do there’s a chance it’ll turn into a mocking call like Miz’s “Tiny ball!” chants, so that would definitely make things interesting and entertaining depending on how they do it.
Though to be fair, it’d be a shame if a chant deafened the boos he gets as a heel. What’s the strangest diet you’ve heard of? Let us know in the comments below.
