On July 18 on her OnlyFans, Kiera Hogan announced she’s leaving Impact Wrestling to explore other challenges.
This news shocked us, but we were kinda prepared as we had a feeling this might happen when she recently said her contract ended in July.
She’s one of our favorites and we love what she and Tasha Steelz have put together as Fire ‘N Flava as they took the Knockouts division by storm, but we also love how she’s intent on pushing for new experiences.
In the end, we’re sure it’ll be a great experience for her as she’ll continue to learn and grow. We may even be lucky enough to see her grace an Impact Wrestling ring again.
The sky’s the limit and the future is bright for her and we wish her nothing but the best.
The announcement
As we mentioned above, she made the announcement on her OnlyFans account she set up to interact more closely with her fans regarding news and other updates.
Special thanks to fightful.com for the transcript.
“What’s up babies! I’m in Nashville for tapings and you guys will be the first to know that this is my last IMPACT tapings and I’m going to see what else is out there for me. I’m so excited and scared but I know whatever I choose to do I’m gonna be the best and that’s on periodt.”
This not only ends a good run over the last year with Tasha Steelz as two time Knockouts Tag Team Champions, but a solid career as she’s been with the company since 2017.
Over that time, she not only gotten better and grown as a performer, but became one of the top wrestlers around, and her and Steelz’s back and forth during a match was a huge highlight.
The end of the line?
It seems the end may have come with last night’s IMPACT! and her and Steelz’s attempt to win back the tag titles from Rosemary and Havoc in a Sslammiversary rematch didn’t pan out.
While it was a great match, it felt like they were on their heels more than not as Havok and Rosemary’s power matched their speed, but it’s how the match ended that makes us feel that was her last one.
Steelz held Rosemary for a superkick, but Rosemary broke free and Hogan nailed her partner and sent her to the floor.
While she was in shock, Havok grabbed her and Rosemary hit a spear for the win.
It wasn’t the best way to go out as one of their rare miscommunications resulted in the loss, but it was a fun ride.
We can’t wait to see where she goes next, but we have every confidence Kiera Hogan will rock it and take her rightful place at the top.
