Mia Yim Expected to Return to WWE as Triple H Continues Bringing Back Released Talent

Since taking over as head of WWE Creative, Triple H has made a splash by changing the culture in the locker room and brought back released talent. The latest one that looks to be returning is Mia Yim.

Yim last appeared in WWE as Reckoning in the Retribution stable before she was released amidst WWE budget cuts.

Mia Yim Expected to Return to WWE as Triple H Continues Bringing Back Released Talent

She’s always been a talented performer and landed on her feet when she signed with Impact Wrestling, but her time there came to a close when she lost to Mickie James at Bound For Glory.

Recently, she took to Instagram to share her thoughts and feeling toward Scott D’Amore, Gail Kim, and others for helping her rediscover her passion for the sport.

“Thank you @impactwrestling @gailkimitsme @scott.damore . You believed in me when I didn’t believe myself and gave me that passion again. It has been a true privilege being a part of the locker room and working with everyone. I will support and root for everyone’s success! Impact Wrestling will forever hold a special spot in my heart. This isn’t goodbye. Love you all 💙🫰🏽”

    Bringing them back

Yim is expected to rejoin the WWE shortly, and she’ll help give the women’s division another dynamic talent that’ll help push them further than they’ve been for a while.

The WWE has had a stacked women’s roster for a while, but we’d only see a small handful of them here and there and we’re still in favor of the women’s division getting their own brand and pay-per-view at some point.

Until then, we expect Triple H to keep adding fresh talent and those he knwos to continue building it into his image. But he’s not stopping there.

There have been reports that he wants to bring Jonah (Bronson Reed in WWE NXT) back as well.

Jonah had a memorable run in Impact Wrestling as well, and has since moved on to New Japan Pro Wrestling where he’s further established himself.

At the time of their release, wrestling fans and critics were at a loss as to Vince McMahon’s reasoning as he let so many talented performers go, but it also gave them a chance to revitalize their careers with Impact Wrestling and other companies.

While Triple H being on a mission to bring them back may hurt other companies as much as the initial releases helped them, it’s great to see so much movement going on and it’s fun to see who’s going where.

Who do you think is left on Triple H’s list? Let us know in the comments below.
